About a 1-hour guided walk around some of the buildings from the days of the Leeds Union Workhouse on the St James’s Hospital site, exploring the history of the buildings from inception to modern times, and the uses and stories of the inmates of those buildings. The walk will involve standing for about ten minutes at a time and walking into and between the various buildings. Some low steps may limit accessibility. These buildings are all in use in the hospital so access inside some of the buildings may not be possible on the day.
