Architecture Up Close – The Making of One Station Hill
One Station Hill, 1 Station Hill Square, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1NB
Join us for a rare opportunity to step inside Reading’s tallest building as part of Heritage Open Days 2025! Over two days, One Station Hill will open its doors for free guided tours, a visual exhibition, and a public talk exploring how this landmark came to life.
Friday 12 September will feature a tour, a short public talk, and a temporary exhibition on Level 15 showcasing the development journey of the building — from early designs to construction milestones. The evening will conclude with soft drinks and panoramic views from the top floor.
Sunday 14 September offers a simpler format with a tour at 12pm and access to the exhibition.
Tours are free and open to all, but spaces are limited and booking is essential via Eventbrite. All tours start at the OSH reception, with stops throughout the public realm and access to Level 15.
Don’t miss this chance to see how architecture is shaping the future of Reading — and to enjoy the view from the top!
