Richard Martin of Cotswold Woollen Weavers will be delivering a humorous historical talk on wool in the Cotswolds through the ages.

Richard Martin: "Wool in the Cotswolds through the ages: From Roman Sheep, through oodles of boodle in medieval times, to Blissful weaving in Chipping Norton and Blankets in Witney"

Join us in the historic Market Place building of Art & Talking, the art centre of Chipping Norton for a humorous historical talk on Wool in the Cotswolds. Richard Martin of Cotswold Woollen Weavers will talk from the perspective of someone who cares for history and has made a lifetime’s living from wool.

The talk will be at 7PM and last about 45 minutes.

There is also a small exhibition of Chipping Norton artefacts, including original copies of Art & Language published in Chipping Norton, and a painting exhibition by Pato Bosich. The sculpture garden gives a unique perspective on historic buildings in the centre that has been likened to St Paul de Vence.

Refreshments will be served.
