Join the Bucks Historical Association to find out about Aylesbury's prisons across the ages.

Join us at the King’s Head and hear about how we have incarcerated miscreants and all the various punishments inflicted on them. We will also have a short walk down to some old cells.

Accessibility details

The cobbled paths within The King's Head can be uneven and slippery if wet. Access to the cells is downstairs with no lift available.

You are welcome to attend just for the talk, which will last around 45 mins. Small groups will then be permitted into the cells based on ticket numbers - first come, first served.
