Bannock Farm Press is a traditional style jobbing printer from the 1960s. We print using the traditional letterpress method using a variety of presses, with metal type and hot metal typesetting. Visitors will be able to print their own mementoes.

See how printing was done in the middle of the last century. Most of our equipment is from the 1950s and 1960s. See the presses in action printing stationery items. Visitors can participate in traditional printing and set their own names in type and print on a small hand press.
During the day we hope to have one of our hot metal casting machines (Intertype and Ludlow) working to show how type slugs are cast and printed. Apart from visitors printing their own memento there is also the opportunity to purchase letterpress printed stationery items.
