This year we focus on the architecture of our beautiful building! Join a tour of the museum and discover some of the quirky features, learn about pour restoration project with Pinnacle Builders and for younger historians, den building!

Bassetlaw Museum is housed in the historic Amcott House, and it is thought that parts of it date from the 1600's. Join one of our fascinating tours and learn about the largest object in our collection, the house itself! Please check our website and Facebook page for timings.
The buildings and some of the exterior walls will soon be undergoing some renovation work, as part of Bassetlaw District Council's flagship heritage building skills program, with Pinnacle Builders, one of the countries leading traditional building techniques companies. Find out more about what is happening and how you can be part of the training!
Children will also find something fun to do as they get to chance to be mini builders with our Den Making Kit in the Art Gallery. There will also be themed colouring sheets.
