In 1903 Beatrix Potter published one of her most loved tales, The Tailor of Gloucester. It was inspired by a visit she made to the city.  The
Museum showcases donated Beatrix Potter memorabilia and displays include books,figurines, needlecraft and rare toys. A highlight is the WImade replica waistcoat, embroidered over four hundred hours using a High Sheriff’s wedding dress.
