  • | Talk

Discover the Codebreakers’ stories of life and work at wartime Bletchley Park and then explore the site for yourself.

The Codebreakers of Bletchley Park faced more than the formidable challenge of encrypted enemy messages. They also navigated the realities of working on a country estate, while living in an area ill-equipped for the sudden arrival of nearly 9,000 newcomers.

Drawing on the Bletchley Park Oral History collection, Research Officer Dr Thomas Cheetham and Archivist Dean Annison bring these experiences vividly to life - in the Codebreakers' own words.

Includes free entry to explore Bletchley Park after the talk.
