Discover a cornerstone of local heritage as we join in with 2026 Heritage Open Days! On Saturday 19th September the historic Bedworth Almshouses invite you to explore centuries of community, architecture, and enduring charity.
What’s On Offer:
Expert Guided Tours: Step back in time with free tours running throughout the day. Led by knowledgeable local historians, you'll uncover the fascinating life of Rector Nicholas Chamberlaine, the creation of these beautiful buildings, and how they have lovingly survived to the present day.
Family-Friendly Activities: Bring the generations together! Our friendly volunteers will be hosting hands-on, engaging activities perfect for younger visitors and families.
A Living Legacy: Nicholas Chamberlaine’s impact didn't stop in the 18th century. Explore a showcase of the wonderful community and educational projects currently being funded across Bedworth and beyond thanks to his lasting legacy.

The Almshouses remains a working, residential site and visitors are reminded that the residents are entitled to private enjoyment of their home.
