A walk of discovery round part of the historic south Leeds suburb of Beeston.

Eileen Metcalfe can trace her family through several generations in Beeston and is keen to share her experiences of the area where she grew up and the stories passed on through her family. She is indebted to the wonderful publications of the Beeston Local History Society which have greatly added to her knowledge of the people and buildings of this ancient village.

If coming by car some parking is available nearby at the Beeston Community Hub and Library, Town Street, LS11 8PN then cross the road to meet outside St Mary's Church. Please respect the needs of local residents if parking on nearby streets.
