Sussex County Cricket Club was the first First-Class County formed in 1839 and is the oldest professional sports team in the world.

Sussex have played at the ground in Eaton Road since 1871, after acquiring the land from the Trustees of the Stanford Estate. The first county match was played at Eaton Road on 6 June 1872 against Gloucestershire, when WG Grace was amongst the opposition.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour that will include the award winning Sussex Cricket Museum and other areas you don’t normally get to see - and, this year, come and see some of the match preparations prior to an English First Division cricket match.

The tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
