Behind the Scenes of the Library Theatre

Fifty years after it closed, Simon Murgatroyd gives a behind-the-scenes tour of some of The Library Theatre spaces with stories from its 21 year history as the UK's first professional theatre-in-the-round. There are two tours one on Thursday 17th September from 6pm and one on Saturday 19th September from 10:30 which can be booked via Eventbrite.

Directions:

The library is located just off the main pedestrian precinct on Vernon Road, next door to the Iceland supermarket. There are two bus stops near the library, which are served by numerous routes. The railway station is also nearby. The most convenient parking is at the Palm Court multi-storey on Vernon Road. Alternatively, Scarborough has a park and ride scheme on the A64 and the A165 Filey approach to town. The library has ramps, automatic doors, lifts, a disabled toilet and an induction loop system.
