Visit Hornchurch bell tower on Sunday 20th September from 11.30am - 2.00pm. See the bells, watch demonstrations and have a go at bell ringing yourself.

We will have a specially acquired mini-ring in the churchyard to demonstrate the ancient art of church bell ringing.
We will allow you to climb the tower stairs to the ringing room where a video camera will show you our ancient bells dating from 1779 to 2014.
You can view our peal boards celebrating bell ringing for Royal occasions including the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III.
You can have a go at bell ringing yourself and chat to other local ringers about their unique and fascinating hobby.
If interested, you can register for a follow up session to find out more about learning to ring.
Refreshments will be available.
