Berkshire Churches
This talk gives a glimpse at some of the many historical, unusual and sometimes hidden churches and churchyards in and around Berkshire and the people associated with them. Catherine will share some of the social history and associated stories, including the marriage of Anne Seymour at Hatford St George Church and the death of Amy Robsart which rocked not just Cumnor where she was staying, but the Court of Queen Elizabeth I. Expect lots of photographs!
