The ancient moated site of Astley Castle holds award-winning modern accommodation clasped within the shell of a medieval castle. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the huge living room and kitchen look out over Astley's church and into beautiful internal courts formed by ruined spaces. This a rare chance to see inside The Landmark Trust's conversion, normally let for short holiday breaks.
Come and explore the new accommodation hidden within the ruined walls, explore the knot garden and grounds, and find out more about its history through our footpath trails.
LEGO workshops, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
Drop in and play with thousands of LEGO bricks and Bricks McGee master builder. We'll be building castle gatehouses inspired by Astley Castle from LEGO bricks in a rainbow of colours from your imagination.
Get hands on with our activity, open to join at any time between 10am - 2pm. Fun for all ages 4+! Children must be accompanied during this activity. Pre-booking not required. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group who do not authorise or endorse this event. Sorry, you can't take any bricks home - stay and play with us!
Leaflets on the building's history and children's activity sheets will be available along with our knowledgeable Landmark staff.
