Blackpool Central Library Tour

Blackpool Central Library, Queen Street, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 1PX

  • Multiple dates available
  • | In person
  • | Pre-booking required
  • | Walk / Tour

Central Library has sat in the middle of Blackpool since 1911. Come and learn about how that came about, who paid for it, and how the printed word became available to the everyday people.

You can learn about the modern library offer, and how you can access it from all over the world. We'll also tell you about our resident ghosts and how they got here too!

All but one area of the tour is accessible to wheelchair users, and you can join the library while you're here (or resurrect your account if you haven't been to us in a while). This is your library, and it's here for everyone - come in and know us better.
