Borley Church, Sudbury: Guided Tours
Borley Church, Hall Road, Borley, Sudbury, Essex, CO10 7AE
In addition to enjoying the displays in Borley Churchyard, you can take a tour of the church and grounds to learn about this historic listed building. Dominated by the Waldegrave tomb this small rural church is full of interesting features, including an original altar slab which should have been destroyed in the 1540s but was uncovered during renovations 400 years later, and is still in use today.
The church is full of light with stained glass windows on the east, south and west sided and is a quiet place to rest in this noisy world.
