Find out about our iconic bottle ovens by exploring the historic pottery town of Longton on this fascinating walk.

Longton’s buildings tell the industrial tale of the development of the area and the important role it played in the pottery industry. This year, local historian, Phil Rowley's walk begins with a special tour of the Gladstone bottle ovens before taking in other historic landmarks and more of the remaining bottle ovens of Longton. Beginning and ending at Gladstone Pottery Museum car park, the tour should take around two hours. Co-ordinated by the Potteries Heritage Society.
