There were once 250 cementation furnaces in the city converting iron into steel. We have old maps, illustrations of the process and notes on how this process was part of making Sheffield dominant in steel in the19th century.

Level gravelled surface straight off public pavement, so a bit awkward for wheeled vehicles. No toilets on site. Assistance dogs permitted, but no other animals.
