For HODs 2026, the Brighton and Hove Women’s History Group are giving three talks about some of the women who appear in their latest book.

Join Gerry for a talk about her work researching women involved in the world of stage and screen during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Gerry focuses on women who as well as being stage actresses became involved with the early Brighton and Hove film industry. This will include actresses and film makers Laura Bayley and Nell Emerald.
