Join Maureen Waldron of Sandwell Archives to explore through photographs the history of cinema in the part of the Black Country which is now Sandwell.

Do you remember the days when going to the cinema was a weekly treat?

There were matinees on Saturdays just for children, the ice cream lady came around at the interval, & you could watch the films over and over again. Over the years there were 48 cinemas throughout the six towns of Sandwell. Find out the histories of each of them through photographs.
