Explore Brookwood Cemetery one of the most significant heritage assets in the Borough of Woking. It is a Grade I listed Park and Garden, set in 220 acres of landscaped grounds, rich in architecture, ecology, horticulture and history.

This is a chance to explore the beautiful grounds, view inside the Columbarium and Colquhoun Chapel and visit the Military Cemeteries and exhibitions at St Edward Brotherhood and The Trench Experience
Take a short ride on the Mizens Railway – A passenger carrying miniature railway
There will be walks from the North chapel: 11am - Conifer Trees at Brookwood and 1pm a walk led by the Brookwood Cemetery Society focusing on the mausoleums.
Hand out trails available for those who wish to explore on their on.
There will be tours of Brookwood American Cemetery, focusing on the heritage and architecture as well as family friendly activities
Tours guides will be available in the Commonwealth War Grave Commision site and Canada house will be open to the public
Refreshments available and picnic area: at The Trench Experience.

Directions:
Rail: Brookwood Cemetery is served by South Western Railway services out of London Waterloo. The journey time is approximately forty minutes to Brookwood Station. There is an exit at the station leading directly into the cemetery grounds. The event location will be sign posted (North Cemetery Entrance) Car: Join the A322 either from the M3 (junction 3) or from Guildford (via the A3). Cemetery Pales, the road which runs through the Cemetery grounds, is a direct turn off the A322. Please ensure that you have appropriate footware for tours as some ground may be uneven. Wheelchairs are suitable in some areas.
