Take a tour of the Percy Cane Heritage Garden with garden historian Jill Sinclair and see the latest creativity by the garden team. Self guided trail and treasure hunt for children available during the HODS festival.

Find out about the history of the garden from when it was created in the late 1920's to the present day. Chance to meet the garden team on the Wednesday and see the future plans. Our landscape architect Ollie Pike will be revealing more about his design solutions to take the garden into full use and open to the public once again at his talk on Thursday evening.

Steps and uneven surface in some areas of the garden and steps with handrails to access the building.

Additional information

The guided tour will only be available on the Wednesday at 11.00. All other times when the library is open the garden can be viewed with the help of a self guided trail sheet available at the library entrance.
