Broomhill Community Library - Oriel House Lives Revealed
Broomhill Community Library, Taptonville Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 5BR
Oriel House, now Broomhill Community Library, was from 1870 until 1956 a home for families and their servants. Research has uncovered something of their lives. Two floors of the library have been largely untouched and some of the original features are still to be seen. The mystery of this past will be revealed!

The library entrance is only accessible up two short flights of steps from the street level. Access to the second floor is only via stairs as there is no lift.
