Enjoy a nostalgic circular tour of old Brownhills, without leaving the room. Bill Mayo has lived in Brownhills all his life and has amassed a significant archive of old Brownhills photos and postcards. Starting from Brownhills Council House, Bill will guide you along the streets of yesteryear, including Brownhills High Street, Pelsall Road, Watling Street and Hednesford Road, sharing some of his wonderful images and stories of Brownhills people and the area's shops, coal pits, churches, railway stations and schools. Bill will also highlight some notable old pubs including The Jolly Collier, The Rising Sun, The Swan, The Old Turf Hotel and The Railway Tavern. What Bill doesn't know about Brownhills, isn't worth knowing! Spaces are limited and early booking is advised.
