A HIDDEN JEWEL in the heart of the Norwich. Come and visit our beautiful building opened in 1892 and designed by A F Scott. The building has many original features and a display of some amazing artefacts and social history from 1882 onwards.

Our volunteers will be delighted to show you round our building and share some fascinating stories about the early days of The Salvation Army in Norwich.
As a special feature this year there will be an exhibition of architectural photographs and drawings, of designs and work by A F Scott, who was an eminent architect designing buildings in Norwich, Cromer and Norfolk during the 1890's and 1900's. The exhibition will take place in the Norwich Citadel which was designed by Scott. We will have a guest speaker on Saturday 13th September at 11.30am and 2.30pm talking about Scott and his local work.
There will be light refreshments available in our Community Café on both Friday and Saturday.
Also, calling all children and young people... On Saturday 13th September you can join us on a journey through time exploring who and what The Salvation Army is through fun activities, games and stations to get involved in.
