Join our Director, Natalie, to discover more about the conservation project at Burnham Norton Friary and learn how we are working to protect this remarkable piece of Norfolk's heritage for future generations.
Like many historic monuments, the friary faces challenges from weathering, natural decay, and the passage of time. Through this conservation project, we are taking important steps to safeguard the site while improving understanding of its history and importance.
During this talk, Natalie will provide an update on the conservation work currently taking place, explaining why the project is needed, what has been achieved so far, and what still lies ahead. You will gain an insight into the specialist skills, research, and planning involved in caring for a scheduled ancient monument, as well as the partnerships and community support that help make this work possible.
