Callister Garden

Owned by a 100 year old Birkenhead charity and located behind a Victorian stone wall on Slatey Road this ‘secret garden’ has been used by the community in different ways over the last ten decades. A new garden pavilion opened a year ago. Enjoy some time in this urban oasis.
Stalls, musical entertainment, refreshments. Please bring cash where possible.

Outside Wirral Heritage Open Days, the Callister Garden is open to the public every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10 to 12. Group visits at other times by arrangement. Talks about the history of the charity and the garden can be booked by email: [email protected]
