Step inside Level 5 Studios at Carrow House for a rare glimpse into the creative practice of our 28 Carrow House Creatives members. These special studio tours invite you to explore working spaces, meet artists and makers, and experience live demonstrations of heritage crafts, art, and printing.

Discover a vibrant creative hub in action: watch skills being brought to life, chat with practitioners about their processes, and get inspired by the diverse work produced here in Norwich. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities and browse our pop-up shop and gallery exhibition. Perfect for taking home a unique memento of your visit.

Level 5 Studios is run by Carrow House Creatives CIC, a community interest company dedicated to providing safe, inclusive, and affordable studio space for artists and creatives across Norwich and Norfolk. Our light-filled studios foster collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing, supporting creatives to develop sustainable practices and connect with the wider community.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to accessibility - ensuring everyone, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, has the opportunity to create, connect, and thrive. Through events like this, we open our doors to share the power of creativity and its positive impact on people and place.

Please note: workshops must be booked separately (see our other listings for full details), and not all studios will be open on both days.

Location & directions

Directions:
On arrival at Carrow House, follow the route through our gates to the right of the building, past the Orangery. Here you will see a large car park where you can leave your car for the duration of your visit for free. However, we are close to Norwich train station, there's a bus stop and Beryl Bike hub on King Street and a bike shelter on site, so do please consider alternative methods of transport if possible. If you have access requirements, there are 6 disabled parking bays at the front of the building. Let us know if you need further assistance and we will do our best to accommodate where possible. Next head to the glass fronted reception if the new building, where one of the team will come and meet you. Please note that due to the nature of this building, some areas can only be accessed by stairs
