Discover Chipping Norton's rich history and its archaeology through a series of free exhibitions in the Lower Hall, presented by Chipping Norton Museum. Featuring intriguing local stories, remarkable artefacts and insights from expert historians and museum curators, these displays offer a unique opportunity to explore the town's heritage and ask questions of those who know it best.

The archaeology displays will cover the neolithic to medieval periods featuring the significant Romano-British settlement in Chipping Norton which was recently scheduled as an Ancient Monument by Historic England. Visitors will be able to handle and admire at close quarters some artefacts unearthed in the Chipping Norton area.

Refreshments, teas and coffees will also be available in the Lower Hall.

Simultaneously there will be historical talks held in the Upper Hall for visitors to enjoy. These will cover the evolution of the town's market place and the history of iconic landmark Bliss Mill.
