A small Victorian Church, built in 1847 in the Early English style, stands in a portion of the one time park to the Hall at King Sterndale.

A chance to escape the town and city to visit the tranquil village church of Christ Church King Sterndale. The door is open come and enjoy the surrounding country side and peace the church offers. Once inside the church take a pew, spend some time in contemplation and reflection on the days / weeks events. Inspect the stained glass windows of Christ Church, many have been attracted by its vivid colourings, in particular, the “Ascension” and “Good Shepherd” windows, another window portrays St. Peter with the Keys; another, George Herbert, priest and poet; and another, St. Agnes, as a bound and kneeling figure at the block with her executioner standing by.
