Emma Jane Wells, FSA is an English church historian, academic, author, and broadcaster, specialising in the ecclesiastical and architectural history of the late medieval and early modern age. She and Guy Critchlow, Chair of The Friends of Christ the Consoler and self-taught super-fan of the church and its history will welcome an exclusive group of guests into the church to enjoy and better understand the amazing and interesting architecture of the building and how the details William Burges included in his fabulous design celebrate, acknowledge and memorialise the beautifully sad story of the churches commissioning.

Accessibility details
Guests should park in the village or at the Hall but this will involve a short to medium length walk to the church. Disabled guests can park at the church but should be aware of the rough and uneven ground. Stewards and parking attendants will be available on the day to assist and direct parking.
