A Victorian Neo-Norman-type church by Benjamin Ferrey, former apprentice to Augustus Pugin. Built-in 1844-46 with impressive decorative carvings, apse murals from 1875 and a fine Minton tiled floor in the Chancel. Information leaflets will be available. Accessibility details
The church is accessible by wheelchair from the north porch, although access to the High Altar and Grey Chapel is limited due to steps.
Additional information
A separate car park is next to the church, behind St James' Hall on Wellway. Guide books & handmade cards will be available to purchase. On Sunday there is a service of Holy Communion at 0800 and at 1115 a Simply Communion. If there are any baptisms they will take place at 1300.
