Come and Play: Folly Playhouse

We've made a very special playhouse... inspired by our 17th century building, The Folly! Children from our local schools have helped us create it, but can you help us decorate it?
Children aged 2-8 can come and play in our cardboard playhouse, and help arrange the museum how they would like it. Children of all ages can create a window and either add it to the building or take it home on the day.
We will be running an architecture-themed children's trail, and a witchmark making activity within the museum for anyone waiting their playtime turn.

- Please book your free place through eventbrite if you can! If you're not able to book, there will be activities to take part in within the museum if you drop in at a time when we are full, and we will book you into the next available session when you arrive.

Accessibility details
The Folly Playhouse will be located in our parlour on the ground floor of the building. This is accessible to standard size wheelchairs. We regret that there is currently no wheelchair access to the upper floors. Entry to the Museum is via three steps. Entry to the Coffee House via is four steps with handrail. Toilets, including disabled toilets and baby change, are located on the ground floor. We serve vegan, vegetarian and gluten free products. We welcome breastfeeding, and formula and baby food can be heated up at no charge. Guide dogs are welcome throughout.
