Discover Crewe's Everyday Histories at the Heritage Fair Step into the Heritage Centre and meet the people who keep Crewe's stories alive.

From railways to theatres, parks to people, the Heritage Fair brings together the organisations, volunteers and community groups dedicated to preserving and sharing Crewe's rich heritage.

Explore fascinating displays, photographs, documents, posters and memorabilia that reveal the stories behind the places and people that have shaped everyday life in our town. Learn about the history of the Lyceum Theatre, Queen's Park, the Railway Cottages and YMCA Cheshire, discover hidden stories with Crewe Town Council, and uncover the inspiring legacy of Ada Nield Chew.

Rail enthusiasts can browse railway heritage displays, family-friendly activities and historic ASLEF banners, while visitors of all ages can chat with local experts and discover the stories behind Crewe's unique identity.

Alongside the Heritage Fair, enjoy everything the Heritage Centre has to offer. Explore our exhibitions, discover local archives and collections, browse the gift shop, enjoy refreshments in the Heritage Centre café, and find out more about the work of Crewe Heritage Trust in caring for and celebrating our town's heritage.
