Croft Castle sits in the heart of Herefordshire’s countryside, surrounded by 1500 acres of historic woodland, farm and parkland. Home to the Croft family for nearly 1000 years, this castle is steeped in history and has many powerful stories to tell.

Within the impressive castle, discover the warm, well-furnished interiors of this family home and uncover stories about the key members of the Croft family who played their part in influencing British political and military history.

Take a ramble across the parkland and immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world along one of the 5 way-marked walks. From ancient trees to an iron-age hillfort, there are endless adventures to be had. In the parkland you’ll also find the natural play area, one of two children’s play areas on the site.

After a busy day of exploring, treat yourself to something tasty from the Carpenter's tea-room, where light lunches, baked goods, hot drinks and more are available. Dogs are welcome in the glazed seating area of the tea-room.
