As the League of Curiosity curates a curious collection of Bury-based stories and songs, retold through gentle clowning, splashes of play, and flashes of puppetry.
A family-friendly folklore walk for those who like their history with a healthy dose of stories, songs, and play.

When: Saturday 12th September, 11am and 2pm

Where: Meet at The Met (visiting Bury Church, Library Gardens and Kay Gardens)

Who: Children 6+ and their families

Length: 50mins

Max audience size: 30 people

Access: The walk will explore the ‘Cultural Quarter’ of Bury. We will travel along paths, pavements, and urban greenspaces. The ground may be uneven at times - and even muddy (depending on weather). Participants are encouraged to dress appropriate to the weather (coat for rain, sunscream for sun - that sort of thing). The walks will go ahead, rain or shine (but not in really bad, sideways rain or ridiculously windy storms).
