Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Tewkesbury Cemetery.

Discover the remarkable stories of the two-dozen men and women of the British and Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars and after, who are buried within our community.
There are 10 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war including a new one in 2018 and ten of the 1939-1945 war. We also have five burials for the period following WW11.

Accessibility details

The tour lasts approx 75 mins and covers an area of about 200 metres on grass with uneven ground. Parking is available at the leisure centre. There are no facilities on site but toilets are available at Gloucester Road car park. Please bring water if requred. Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Well behaved dogs on a lead are allowed on site.
