Artists and creators at designermakers21 are being inspired by the Winfarthing Anglo-Saxon Project. Come and visit them in their studios to see demonstrations and take part in a variety of craft activities.

designermakers21 is delighted to partner with the Winfarthing Anglo-Saxon Project to develop creative responses to the incredible discovery of an Anglo-Saxon grave dating from around 650-700AD.

Members at designermakers21 will be showcasing their craft including work inspired by the discovery. Visitors can see demonstrations of crafts including mosaics, jewellery, metal work, ceramics and textiles. There will be opportunities to get involved through creative workshops and drop in activities suitable for all. Examples include design your own Anglo-Saxon coin, jewellery item or embroidered textile.
