Guided walks focused around the west of the City Wall and Exbridges. Talk to archaeologists and trustees about Devon and specifically Exeter’s past. A chance to buy leaflets and books related to Devon’s archaeology.

Walks will start from our base in the Custom House on the Quay. Walks will be led by experienced guides giving valuable insight and fascinating detail into archaeological work carried out in the area, and the history of the Quay, the Custom House and the mediaeval Exe Bridge. Participants will look at the surviving city wall in the area. Walks will last up to 45 minutes: participants may be walking on uneven surfaces.
Trustees of the society will be available throughout the day to answer questions, provide information and distribute society publications.
