Dewsbury Beeline & Memory Lane Tour with Documentary Showing

The Dewsbury Beeline & Memory Lane Tour explores many locations in the town starting at Dewsbury Minster.

On the tour I will introduce characters from the past as well as giving historic information about many buildings and locations.

The tour ends with refreshments, a showing of the documentary Memory Lane Dewsbury and the opportunity to see some memorabilia some of which will be seen on screen.

We are hoping to show a few clips from Memory Lane 2 Thornhill Lees & Thornhill which has been in production for 10 years.

The tour is slightly different each year and may differ slightly on the day.

All welcome and booking is essential.

For those who do not wish to do the tour but do want to see the documentary please also book in and mention it’s the showing only you wish to attend.

The tour starts at Dewsbury Minster 1pm and the documentary starts at 2:30 however we ask people to arrive at 2:15 for refreshments.

The showing of the documentary will be in the town centre at The Long Causeway Church (3 Strand Cafe)

The tour meeting point is at the side of Dewsbury Minster facing B&Q. There is a car park but spaces are limited. The Minster is only a few minutes walk from Dewsbury Bus Station 1pm Documentary showing is at the Long Causeway Church (3 Strands Cafe) 2:30

Please note this tour is adults only. Locations may be added and removed from the schedule however any being added we would aim to make wheelchair friendly where possible.
