Join local resident and historian Leslie Hebb on this two hour walk around Bishop Burton. Listen to the history of the village and its references in the William the Conquerer’s Doomsday Book, with tales of the buildings in the village and their residents. Leslie will take you to parts of the village you probably haven’t seen before when passing through on the A1079 Beverley to York Road.

Accessibility details

The two hour stroll around the village does involve a number of slopes. At various locations around the village there are benches where you can rest but you do need to be able to amble for a couple of hours. The Village Hall is totally accessible. Bishop Burton Village Hall will be open 9.30am- 4pm serving refreshments (cash preferred). There are toilet facilities at the Village Hall
