Holy Trinity Church – Ripon is a Grade 11 listed building.  It is still in use as a place of worship today. Designed by architect: Thomas Taylor, and dates from 1827, with alterations in 1876 and 1884.

Holy Trinity was reordered towards the end of the 20th century and at this time the crypt was enlarged and extended to form extensive facilities to include meeting rooms, toilets and a kitchen.

The architectural details are: Ashlar. Hall church type. Nave chancel and broad transepts of equal height. Two-centred lancets, with splayed reveals externally, except at east end where reveals are moulded: hoodmoulds. Shallow buttresses. Crenelated parapets continued over gable ends. Three-stage west tower with broach spire.

Interior has fine plaster lierne vaults to each bay, and a wide tierceron-vaulted crossing.

See exclusive drone footage of the church commissioned especially for HODS.
