Directions:

By Rail: Cross City Line/Bournville Station is only a few hundred yards away. Pineapple Road Station/Camp Hill Line is further away near top of Cartland Road. By Bus: Bus stops for 45/47 and 27 are all nearby; 11A/11C approx 1/4 mile away to the south; no 76 approx 1/4 mile away to north. Sorry, NO on-site parking. There may be space on adjacent roads e.g. Ribblesdale Road, then walk through Stirchley Park to Bournville Lane or Hazelwell Street. Cycling: National Route no 5 runs alongside River Rea just a few hundred yards away to east side of Stirchley village. Exit from Birmingham/Worcester Canal towpath via Bournville Station or Mary Vale Road It may be possible to store your bicycle - at owner's risk - while you visit our building. Please inquire on arrival and bring own lock. We are situated adjacent to the 'Triangle' open space at junction of Pershore Road and Hazelwell Street.

Accessibility details

Ramp at Hazelwell Road entrance. Access to First Floor is via stairs or a 'rising platform' lift. 'Lift Buddies' will be on duty to assist where needed. Lift unsuitable for larger mobility-aids as 400kg safe operating weight limit applies. Cellar only accessible via steps, uneven flooring and may be damp - wear suitable shoes. We plan to have all our main rooms/halls available to view but please be aware ongoing maintenance and renovation work is in progress so access to certain spaces may be restricted at short notice. Floors may be uneven in places.

Additional information

The building will be open between 10am and 12md only on this occasion, therefore if visiting other heritage events in the area, you may wish to visit us first before going to other local venues such as The British Oak public house, Stirchley Library or Stirchley Baths. Pop-Up café will be serving very light refreshments at no charge, (donations welcome).
