Explore the birthplace of Nottingham's most famous preacher and social reformer - William Booth - co-founder of the Salvation Army. Explore the Grade II listed building and step back in time to see what a lower middle class home would have looked like in the late 1820s. Find out about Booth's early years in Nottingham and the influences that impacted him and inspired him to lead a life of service. Directions:

The Museum is located along Sneinton Road, near its junction with Notintone Street. Access to the Museum is via the walkway to the right of the row of shops facing Sneinton Road - look for the large 'Salvation Army' Red Shield sign. Pass through the metal gate and into the courtyard in front of the Museum. Postcode: NG2 4QG.

Ground floor of the museum wheelchair accessible (ramp access to museum). Museum has a lift, but the lift is not wheelchair accessible.
