Meet in KFC on Liverpool road, warm and dry. Leisurely guided walk of approx 1 mile, stopping at points of interest, to bridge and back. Your guide is happy to answer questions and record your memories if you worked at Crosfields. Suitable for most ages with reasonable mobility. Dogs on leads included. Children from 5 upwards but must be with an adult as the walk goes through a working factory and over a level crossing.

Accessibility details
Facilities only available at start and end of walk in KFC. Paths are negotiable and flat but narrow, restricted and bumpy in places, tree roots etc. Anyone using a wheelchair may need assistance and the organisers cannot help with that.
Additional information
The bridge is always available to view but the guided walks are only free for Heritage Open Days and add a lot to the experience
