Come and discover the history of Grimsby's Jewish Community with this exhibition held in Grimsby Town Hall.

In the 19th century, Grimsby was the third largest centre of Jewish immigration in the UK after London and Hull. Over 100,000 Jewish people came through Grimsby from eastern Europe and Russia, some travelled on to Liverpool and then America or Canada whilst others chose to stay in Grimsby and build a life here. This exhibition will explore the stories and experiences of those who travelled through and settled in Grimsby and how they became part of the community here.
