Tour of Doncaster Unitarian and Free Christian Church

60A Hall Gate, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN1 3PB

  • 17 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking preferred

Look around our historic building and learn about some of the historic figures who have met, spoken and sung here.

Learn the history of our building and congregation and its political, social and religious history. See behind-the-scenes areas including stained glass not visible from the street. The present building goes back to 1912 and the congregation much further, and it's made history in many ways including being the first place of worship in Doncaster to host a same-sex wedding.

The tour runs at 2pm, following our usual monthly Wednesday lunchtime gathering, so feel free to pop in beforehand at 12.15 for a short reflection and light refreshments.
