Dorich House Museum is the 1930s former studio home of the sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband Richard Hare. Visitors can enjoy the house and its collections, which include many of Gordine's works, our garden and studio café.

Dorich House Museum will be open for free drop-in visits on our usual open days of Thursdays, Friday and Saturday during Heritage Open Days, and including additional open days on Sunday 14th and 21st September - to give more visitors a chance to see the house.

There will also be an opportunity to join one of our free tours which we will be running on during the festival - see our website for dates and times.
These tours have a maximum capacity of 12 and can be booked via our Eventbrite page.

Accessibility details

The museum is located over four floors. There are 78 steps to the top floor, which is accessed via a narrow staircase. The museum currently has no wheelchair accessible toilets, baby change facilities, or step-free access. We have a wheelchair accessible entrance in to our cafe.
