Dover Transport Museum – Family treasure hunt day

This is a free event for family visitors. The museum contains hundreds of exhibits celebrating Dover’s old businesses and occupations as well as vehicles once familiar on local roads. Quiz sheets for older children and adults will be available, based on these displays, and completed sheets will be entered into a prize draw. A simpler “treasure hunt” will be available for younger children, again with a chance to win prizes. Weather permitting, the museum’s ride-on railway will be open for children’s rides.

Children must be properly supervised – the museum contains many artefacts potentially hazardous to unwary children.
Additional information
There is one small display area reached by stairs that is not accessible to wheelchair users. Special arrangements are in place for disabled users of the café which has steps.
